Our care

Care at home, arranged around one person.

There are two ways to think about this: how often someone is there, and what they help with. Most people need a bit of both.

Ways we deliver care

A carer sitting with an older man at home.

Visiting care

Planned visits at agreed times, from a short call to several hours a day.

What this includes

  • Call times agreed with you in writing before care starts
  • The same small team of carers wherever possible
  • Support with washing, dressing and getting ready for the day
  • Meal preparation and help with drinking enough

Overnight care

A carer in the home through the night, either sleeping in or awake.

What this includes

  • Sleeping nights, where the carer rests but is there if needed
  • Waking nights, where the carer stays up throughout
  • Help getting to and from bed, and to the toilet in the night
  • Repositioning and continence support

  • Support with personal care, meals and medication
  • Help staying part of the local community
  • Planned breaks with a familiar replacement carer

Not sure what you need?

Most people are not, at first. Our Registered Manager will visit, talk it through, and put it in writing before anything starts.
